This is a baseball article website. I write articles (unofficially) from time to time and I'd like to share them with y'all, so I'm gonna put'em up here.

I enjoy writing about baseball, talking about baseball and even playing baseball. Why do I write about it? Because, to me, it's the kind of game that always has something new to offer; whether it's a race for a win or streak that will get you over 500 and in the playoffs or simply a chase for a record for the most homeruns in a day, month, season or career.

Although this is an article page, I'm not that strict, I'll put some other stuff up here, of course they'll all be baseball-related.

How did I become a Yankee fan? Well, it happened in 2002. Back then I used to be one of those prissy girls that didn't care about sports, you know, the type of girls you'd normally see at Gym class that don't really know how to do anything right. It was summer and I remember I was bored out of my mind. All of my friends were out of the country "enjoying themselves" --I did go to New York that year, but it was later on--. I didn't have anything to do but watch tv and, to tell you the truth, I was pretty much sick of watching the same silly talk shows day after day.

The only thing on that was actually better than that were these baseball games. I started watching them and slowly learning how to play and how to understand each play. Next thing I knew I was watching them every single day and, trust me, even my dad was weirded out.

I started getting more and more interested in these ballgames and everyone at my house were baring with me, they thought it was only one of those stages kids go through, but my love for baseball grew until it was too big to be only a "stage".

I love it so much that I'm gonna pursue a career as a sportswriter now and I really hope I can do a good job at it. Right now I like to write about the Yankees, why? Because I want to :-).
